Practice Schedule

RACE consists of two teams, the Junior team and the Senior team. People from the Junior team normally move up to the Senior team around the time they turn 13. The practices for the Senior team are more difficult, but (as Grant stated in the coaching philosophy) the practices are only as hard as the swimmer makes them. Some of the older Senior swimmers (14 and up) lift twice a week in the RallySport weight room. The facilities at RallySport are amazing and the swim team is extremely lucky to be able to benefit from them. There are also practice options and lessons for younger and/or less skilled swimmers. Private lessons are avaliable throughout the year (along with the 10 and under swim team). Program called Swim America is an option for young children who are being introduced into the water up to the time they learn all four strokes. Swim America has several different groups which include a wide variety of skills. Many RACE swimmers are also instructors for Swim America.(All winter practices are at Rallysport).
