This
Web Quest will allow for the students
to be able to write persuasively
using
figurative language. Also, the students will be able to develop skills in
being selective with the materials they choose to view.
Specific Objectives

The students will be able to recognize figurative language. |

The students will be able to write using figurative language (euphemisms, synonyms, etc.) to make their ideas more interesting. |

The students will be able to speak using figurative language in the correct context. |
|
|
The students will be able to use various links to gather information about how to write using figurative language. |

|
The students will be able to sort through numerous links and dismiss the links that are of no use to them in this assignment. |
General Objectives

The students will be able to write using a broader and more diverse vocabulary. |

The students will be able to speak using proper English. |
|
|
The students will be able to speak using figurative language in the correct context. |

The students will be able to know when a person is using figurative language to persuade by listening. |
