| First off, my name is Krystal Diane Searcy. I was born on May 15, 1987. I just had my 19th birthday last week. I have lived in Hampton my entire life. I live with both of my parents and my little sister. My father is from Georgia and my mother is from here in Virginia. During the summer and sometimes on holidays we are down in Georgia visiting with my father?s side of the family. I don?t really mind it at all, mainly because I love to travel. I have visited most of the states up and down the east coast on the country, but I would like to travel west. I believe that there is so much to see and do, and not enough lifetime to do it all in. Therefore, I want to see as much of the earth (or at least this country) as I can. | ||||||||||
| I graduated from Hampton High School in 2005. I then decided to attended TNC instead of a major university for two years to save money. I plan to transfer to Old Dominion University to major in Mass Communications. I am not quite sure what I want to do with that degree as of yet, but it will come eventually. I am in TNCC this semester during the summer because I knew I was going to have to take this class, and instead ;of resting my brain during the summer, I decided to keep it active. Also, it would give me something to do so that I wouldn'?t be so bored. I really enjoy English, and that was another reason to take an English course rather than a math or a science course. I though that if I was going to attend school during the summer, why not take something that I am going to enjoy. And just by the first day, I can see already that I will enjoy this class. | ||||||||||
| During free time, I am almost always with my friends. I think that I am very outgoing, and I love to have fun. My friends like to do the same types of things I like to do. (Why else would they be my friends?) We love to go see movies, if we can agree on what to see, that is. We are always trying to find a new restaurant to eat at, or if not we try to make our own restaurants at home. We love to cook. We enjoy theme parks, and we all have seasons passes to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. But most of all, shopping is our favorite thing to do. All of our memories together are always captures in LOTS of pictures. Someone always has their digital cameral on hand, and if not a camera phone is always useful. Pictures are what make memories, and that?s what we want to keep. Its good having people around you to spend time with and have fun. | ||||||||||
| During my 'me' time, I love to read. Most people probably don't think that when hang around me, but it's true. I like to read all kinds of different types of books. I read fiction mostly. I like to read a book where I can relate to the characters, and when I put the book down, I continue to think about what is going to happen next. Next to reading, I also enjoy writing. I free write a lot. It?s a way to vent, to clear my thoughts and put them on paper. Sometimes my free writing turns into a poem, and sometimes it?s a page full of an emotion or two. Whatever it is, I believe it?s unique because its all me and no one else. | ||||||||||
