I am a music lover and I have to say I am fucking appauled at the amount of manufactured bands around at the moment, in particular those 4 (was 5) chicks that are a part of the "Popstar Project". For our Australian viewers y'all know what I am talking about, but for our O/S readers Popstars is this lame show which is a total crock of bullshit.. Thousands of girls auditioned to be one of 5 members of an all girl band (*cough* SPICE GIRLS) Then one dropped out (incidentally Chantelle Barry - the one who went AWOL, went to MY highschool - John Curtin yah! I always knew we were the losers choice) and now the media is giving her heaps of shite...
What I worry about is that people are actually going to go out and buy the singles and eventually the album - if one is ever made... Don't people realise, how apparent it is that we are being lead and manipulated by the media?? This isnt a real band, peeps... Sure the performers in the band are talented and have had years of training and stuff, but the band itself is fake, false, a total manipulation of society.

A revolutionary television CONCEPT...(Late Latin conceptus, from Latin, past participle of concipere, to conceive) It may as well be another Neighbours or Home and Away.. It is the dream child of some money hungry, sponsorship wild Ad Exec. Does the name Sylvanian Waters mean anything to anyone??
