i'll admit, i'm not sure how,
into my tongue a guy will poke
a metal bar and pain evoke.
but that's ok, i think its worth,
the pain that's worse than childbirth
i'll leave it in till i can eat
some solid foods and my friends greet
without then asking what i've said
it will hurt, but i won't be dead.
so on this lovely piercing ever
i'll eat more than you'll believe,
chips, salsa, and spaghetti too,
for tomorrow i'll have to eat soft goo.
