Responsibilities: Act as the in charge of the programme. Designing the framework and the modality of operation of the programme. The entire management- planning, staffing, budgeting, reporting, controlling, etc. Conducting action research on poverty alleviating issues, and preparing working modalities for social development programme (e.g. group formation, revolving fund and micro saving and credit mobilisation, micro infrastructure building and institutional development of self-help groups). Establishing linkage and complementarity with different stakeholders for the benefit of the participating households and working in tandem with local authorities. Periodical assessment and reporting. 1997-98 Programme Officer for 3 months in Tansen Municipality Nepal.Managed a local government related social services related to social services and community development programmes. 1996-97 Self-reliance Promoter (RSDC) for 1 year in Palpa. | 2001 Swabalamban (self-reliance) development: the fifteen years experience as the alternative empowerment approach in Nepal. This open seminar was organised in G�teborg Sweden and hosted by G�teborg NGO Network (Goteborg Frivilig Centre). 2000 The issue of sustainability of successfully implemented community organisation based social mobilisation programme: An experience from Marchwar Self-reliant programme.
