About Me

I was born in a small town named Allahabad of state Uttar Pradesh, India on 7th July 1978. I completed my primary education in Saraswati Shishu Mandir (a school from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh). After that I joined Government Intermediate College, Pratapgarh for my High School and Intermediate. Then I left my town for my higher education and joined Kamala Nehru Institute for Physical and Social Science, Sultanpur for my Bachelor's (B.Sc) degree with Physics, Electronics and Mathematics. After successful completion of my Bachelor's I joined Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi for Master's degree in Science (M.Sc) in Physics with specialization in Electronics. After that I joined Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) for Master's degree in Technology (M.Tech) in Solid State Materials. Presently I am continuing my PhD degree at Max Planck Institute,Goettingen, Germany.

Someone has very nicely said that Friends are very important character in one's life because thay are the only ones
whom we choose on our own. I too have some good friends in my life. My best friend is Debjani.
Currently she is doing PhD at IIT Bomday. We were colleagues during my master's in BHU. We became friends during that period of time and she enriched my life in so many ways.We used to discuss a lot about science, life and many more. I am proud to say that I learnt some good things about life from her. I have some more good friends named Rajeev, Ashish, Ramanuj, Ajay and many more from my home town. I really had a very good time with these guys during my school and college. During my M.Tech at IIT Delhi again I got some good lifetime friends. We were 15 students during M.Tech and we all were friends. But I can never forget Puneet, Saroj, Venkat ,Sandeep and Sunil we are very good friends even now. We are always in touch even after 2 years of our MTech. If you see my gallery, you will realise how close I am with my friends even now.

Hobbies & Interests

I am a sportive guy so i like to play sports a lot. In India I used to play CRICKET a lot. As is well known, Indians are very passionate about cricket. I too love to play and watch cricket. After coming to Germany I asked my german colleagues to play cricket and now they too like to play cricket. Now we have a cricket team in Goettingen and we play cricket here also. I like to play badmintion too. Chess and Playing Cards are also my favourite games.Another hobby which i enjoyed the most is watching movies. I love to watch BOLLYWOOD movies. And I am happy that here in germany also I get hindi movies. I like to read good novels also. You can say that i like to pass my free time with good books. I have a good library at my home which is made by my grandfather and me. And last but not the least... I love travelling, visiting new places and making friends.....

Achievements

        Achieved 71% in High School and Intermediate and received National Scholarship during that period.

         Achieved 73% in B.Sc. and stood 2nd in the college.

         Acheived 8.9/10 CGPA in MTech in IIT Delhi.
