• Research paper entitled Flow Service Order: A computationally inexpensive Packet Scheduling algorithm to support QoS guarantees for Real Time traffic presented at ICATM'99 (2nd International Conference on ATM sponsored by IEEE). You can download a postscript version of the paper.
• US Patent pending for work on Network Scheduler supporting QoS guarantees for Real-Time multimedia traffic.
• ¹ Published research paper based on M.S. thesis in the ACM Journal of Wireless Networks, Jan '96. Citations [1], [2], [3].
• Adaptive QoS scheduling based on MS research¹ incorporated in Novell's Multimedia product.
• Novell Research publication entitled Writing Java Applications on NetWare Using Legacy NLMs, Jan '98. It has been translated to Polish as well.
• Hold the copyright for SoftWord^TM, issued by Govt. of India, June '92.
• CitiBank offices all over the country deployed the file transfer program, written at Nucleus Pvt. Ltd. by etching it into the firmware of IBM/PCs used by their systems engineers.
• Member of the senior management Strategy Committee that evaluates new technologies/projects and investment efforts for Novell's India Development Center.
• Recruited for senior technical positions as well as developers from premier engineering and research institutes.
• Recipient of an award for the NetWare NFS product.
• Recipient of other awards including one for conducting training on NLM programming & debugging.
• Presented intraNetWare NFS Services product at Novell Worldwide Developer's Conference, Brainshare '97 at Salt Lake City, Utah.
• Delivering a technical talk at a symposium on Emerging Trends in Networking to postgraduate students of Regional Engineering College, Trichy, India. Here is a sweet vote of thanks from the management.
• Published an article on Java in The Economic Times in March 1998.
• On addressing senior students of Lady Irwin School, New Delhi, on The world of networked computers.
• Finally, in pursuit of excellence, as an earthling.

The road till here

• Winning the 1st prize in Martin Gardner's games of strategy (circa 1985).
• Graduating with a Masters degree in Mathematics.
• And one in Computer Science.
• Carl Moore's token of appreciation for my work at the Computer Center, USC
• For those months of hard work at the Earth Sciences Resources Institute, USC.
• And then, of course, graduating with an MS in CS from USC.
