NEWS

8/26/00  The site has been updated with with a bunch of new stuff!!!!!

6/23/00 Todd updated the page again, minor and major.  Our site has moved from the defunct AOL to Geocities.  Ryan is back in the band after a minor hiatus, and we look forward to having more shows soon.  We finally got the CD done!  Hopefully we'll have the cover and miscellaneous graphics done soon...

2/17/00 Todd updated the page, and added a bunch of crap because Greg was too lazy to do it for the last 5 months.

2/15/00 Mike went to Zypotic and recorded some vocals with a sore throat, same as last time.  Now he can barely talk, thank God.

2/2/00 Mike got his tongue pierced, as if he could sing to begin with. Ouch!

1/8/2000 Greg got married to Melissa, so we had some time off for a bit.  He wouldn't let us play at the wedding!  Punk bitch!

12/99 Went to Zypotic to record two new songs with Tim.  Went in on Friday, and Fred told us that he'd double booked us, so we cancelled and came in the next morning at 8am.  Things weren't going too well, we were all pretty tired, so we scrapped the whole thing.

11/9/99 The show at Harvey's went well, people wanted more, but we hadn't practiced enough of our new stuff with Tim yet.  We need everyone that checks out the site to come to see us play!

10/30/99 Played our first show with Tim at the Skate Park under the Washington Street Bridge in Battle Creek.  Made absolutely no money, as it was left up to donations, which there were none for any of the bands.  Probably the last time anybody will play there!  Logan (Todd and Heather's two year old son) stole the show with his impromptu rendition of "I'm a cowboy, baby..."

9/99 Signed on our new drummer Tim Martinovich. The CD is on hold until we get our performance ready to record.

7/4/99  Ryan quit the band hours before our show (with our name on the billboard outside, mind you!) at Kraftbrau in Kalamazoo. Mike and I, being the survivor-types, vowed to not let this get us down and we played an impromptu acoustic set. It wasn't so great, but I think we needed to do it to relieve some stress and tension. Now we are seeking a new drummer. We need someone who can rock their ass-off and wants to play shows. That person also needs to be able to play 007 for the N64 and not mind losing a lot. We have some shows at Club Soda in Kalamazoo and the Intersection in Grand Rapids coming up in August/September. We need someone quick. Until then, we will be focusing mainly on finishing the CD.

6/16/99 Harvey's was packed for Full Frontals, and they rocked, but as soon as they were done everyone left again. It was fun, but we need ALL OF YOU to come to our shows!

6/7/99 The show in Marshall was fun, but only other bands showed up not really any people just to listen... which wasn't fun.  Probably would have been more  people if there had been more advertising, but at least we got to meet some other local bands.  We're playing at Harvey's again, and at a new place Kraftbrau.  Both shows should be good, at Kraftbrau we're playing with a friend's band Drinking with Delma (DWD).

5/6/99 The recording is going good, and short of death it will be finished very soon. (a week or two)  The show on the 4th at Harvey's on the Mall with Pawn was a lot of fun, and our next show in Marshall should be also.  We've also added pictures to the website!

4/4/99 We will be recording our first CD at the end of April, and selling them at our shows and local music stores soon.

3/4/99 Ok, the page has a new look, thanks to the creative combination of Todd Smith and myself.  Todd helped me do the stuff I've had in my mind to do for a while.  I have another friend that will hopefully be making Real Audio files of a few of our songs for you all to listen to here in the near future.  We'll also have some pictures up soon, I swear!  Also, in about a month or so, we will be going into a studio to record 5 or  6 songs for our first CD.  So check back every once in a while.  I'm bound to change something by then.

2/18/98 Well, this is the first time I've updated the page this new year.  Yeah, I'm a slacker.  Anyhow, the show back in November at Harvey's never actually happened.  The first two bands went on, but we never did play due to sparks flying from the back of our amps.  That led to us taking some time-off from each other.  A couple months, actually.  Well, we're back now and on the 2nd of February we actually played at Harvey's.  It was alot of fun and we'll be doing it again soon.  Check the Upcoming Shows for more info.    Also, Al has decided to leave the band, but Ryan and I will continue to play music with him as the group "Cleo's Grip"(tentative title).  You may even see Al come on stage with the Krisco Lockets in the future for a song or two. Who knows? I'll have more info on that little side-project in the future. Oh yeah, I want to let everyone know they should go see the band, "Pawn" when they come around your way.  They're  really cool guys and they put on a good show.  Check 'em out.

11/23/98 We will be playing live on the radio that night.  Show starts at 9:00 p.m. and we'll be doing some songs and talking about ourselves and basically anything we want to!  The station is WIDR out of Kalamazoo, MI and it is WMU's college station.
