Weevil is a duelist who duels using bugs. At the beginning of Season 1 he won the National Championships by beating Rex Raptor. On the ship to duelist kingdom he threw Yugi's Exodia pieces off the ship. Once the ship reached Duelist Kingdom, Yugi quickly challenged Weevil to a duel. Weevil led Yugi right into a forest. He did this because he was the only one who knew that their were field power bonuses on Duelist Kingdom. Yugi bet his only star chip and his deck against Weevil's two star chips. There duel was fierce. Weevil summoned his powerful Great Moth and destroyed Yugi's Gaia the Dragon Champion, but in the end Yugi won with Summoned Skull. Weevil was the first duelist to get kicked off Duelist Kingdom.
During Battle City, Weevil dueled Joey. Weevil tricked Joey into dueling him. Weevil told a kid to put a Parasite Paracide card in Joey's deck. Joey didn't find out this had happened till the middle of the duel. Weevil used the parasite to render Joey's monsters useless. Joey came through by using Gearfried to destroy Weevil's life points. Weevil was then kicked out of the tournament.
After the final duel between Marik and Yugi was over, Weevil bumped into Dartz. Dartz offered him power like Weevil used to have before Yugi came along. Weevil and Rex then went to Solomon Moto's shop and stole the Egyptian God cards from him. They then gave the cards to Dartz. They were then given the Seal of the Oracle Curse. |
