| Serenity Wheeler is Joey's younger sister. They were seperated when they were young because their parents divorced. Joey promised Serenity that he would always be there for her. Before Duelist Kingdom, Serenity sent a message to Joey telling him that she would soon be blind. Joey gave her money for an operation to fix her eyes. The operation was successful. Serenity supports her brother even if she is not next to him. She and her brother are really close friends. Tristin has become close to her and he is trying to become her boyfriend. He updates her on Joey's duels. He promised to take her to see Joey duel once her bandages came out. They hopped onto a train and headed for Battle City. Once they reach Battle City they were attack by rare hunters but they escape with Duke Devlin's help. She was able to watch part of Joey's duel with Yugi. When Joey was dragged into the water, she saved him. She was able to boadr the blimp and watch Round 1 of the Battle City Finals. In the virtual world, she duelled Machine Seargent with Duke and Tristin. She was able to summon St. Joan and destroy Machine Seargent. After they left the virtual world, she saw Round 2. She didn't watch the final duel because she was watching over Mai. |
