Rex Raptor is a duelist who duels using dinosaurs. At the beggining of Season 1 he came in second place at the nationals.
On the way to Duelist Kingdom he duelled Mai for his room. Mai said that if he won she would kiss him and if she won, she got his room. They duelled with the other person's deck. Mai used her perfume to tell what cards Rex held and she won easily. During Duelist Kingdom, Rex saw Mai and challengd her to a duel. Mai said she would only duel him if he beat Joey. Rex set off to duel Joey. A rule was made that Yugi couldn't help Joey at all. They both bet two starchips. Joey lost the advantage of the duel in the beggining when his Baby Dragon was destroyed. Rex bet his rarest card for Joey's Time Wizard. Rex summoned his all powerful Red-Eyes Black Dragon, but Joey beat it with Time Wizard. Joey won the duel and also won Red-Eyes Black Dragon. He got kicked off Duellist Kingdom later.
During Battle City, he dueled Espa Roba. He stood no chance thanks to Roba's ESP(fake ESP). He lost his Serpent Knight Dragon to him. He also saw Joey beat Roba.
After the final duel between Marik and Yugi was over, Rex bumped into Dartz. Dartz offered him power like Rex used to have before Yugi came along. Rex and Weevil then went to Solomon Moto's shop and stole the Egyptian God cards from him. They then gave the cards to Dartz. There were then given Seal of the Oracle Curse. |
