| Obelisk the Tormentor is one of the three Egyptian God cards. It was created by Pegasus and given to Ishizu for safe keeping. Ishizu later gave it to Seto Kaiba for his Battle City Tournament. Seto Kaiba used it on quite a few occasions during the tournament. He used it against Duel Computer, the Gurus Duo, and Umbra and Lumis. He even summoned Obelisk against Ishizu, but he sacraficed it for his Blue-Eyes. He later used Obelisk against Yugi, but he sacraficed once again for Slifer. After Yugi won the duel, Seto was forced to give Obelisk to Yugi. Yugi summoned it in his duel against Yami Marik. After he beat Yami Marik, Yugi took Obelisk back to Domino. He gave it to his grandpa for safe keeping, but it was stolen along with the other God cards by Weevil and Rex. Now Yugi must get the cards back.Obelisk is extremely powerful. You can sacrfice two additional monsters and Obelisk with destroy all the monsters on your opponent's side of the field. |
