Joey then put all his faith into the heart of the cards and drew Time Wizard. Joey hoped that his old combo could save him once again. Summoning it onto the field, Joey activated Time Roulette. Time Roulette landed on Time Machine, causing the arena to move ahead into the future. Baby Dragon grew into Thousand Dragon, but to Joey's suprise, Blue-Eyes didn't age one bit. Seto remembered how his Blue-Eyes had been defeated before by Black Paladin, but he was determined not to fail his beast this time.
Seto then summoned Thunder Dragon, activating its effect to summon another Thunder Dragon. Seto then activated Polymerization, fusing the two Thunder Dragons to create Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon. Joey now had two dragons to worry about. At the top of the tower, Yugi helped Tea get up. At the duel, Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon destroyed Thousand Dragon. Blue-Eyes then destroyed the rest of Joey's life points. Joey, Tristin, and Duke then decided to find Yugi.
Ishizu then appeared by Seto's side, telling him that in order for Yugi to beat Yami Marik, Yugi would need Seto's help. Seto refused, but after he saw the look on Mokuba's face he changed his mind. At the top of Alcatraz Tower, Yami Yugi was ready to duel Yami Marik. The gang was there, ready to cheer Yugi on. As the duel was about to begin, Seto, Ishizu, and Mokuba reached the top of the tower. Seto then gave Yugi a card called Devil's Sanctuary. Yugi was now ready to duel!
