Jinzo started the duel by setting a monster. Seto summoned Spear Dragon and destroyed the face down monster. Jinzo lost life points thanks to Spear Dragon's effect, but Spear Dragon then switched to defence mode. The face down monster was Hiro's Shadow Scout, so Seto had to draw three cards and discard two magic cards. Then Jinzo set a monster and a card. Seto summoned Giant Germ and switched Spear Dragon back to attack mode. Spear Dragon attacked, but Jinzo activated his face down card. Seto was covered by a mask and Spear Dragon ended up destroying Giant Germ. Seto was able to special summon another Giant Germ from his deck thanks to the first one's effect. Jinzo played Solemn Wishes during his turn. Seto attacked the face down monster. The face down monster was Cyber Jar. Jinzo special summoned Injection fairy Lily, while Seto summoned Vorse Raider and Doldra. Doldra attacked Injection Fairy Lily, but Jinzo activated Injection Fairy Lily's effect. Injection fairy Lily gained 3000 attack and Doldra was destroyed. Seto then activated Doldra's effect and reborned Doldra in defence mode.
Jinzo then taunted Seto by telling him that his Virtual World was still being used for war. Jinzo then played a magic card that lowered Vorse Raiders attack by 400. Jinzo then played Life Squeezer, which allowed him to gain the life points he had payed to use Injection Fairy Lily's effect. Jinzo then set a monster and a card. Seto then switched Vorse Raider to defence mode. Jnzo then sacraficed his face down monster and summoned Satellite Cannon. Satellite Cannon appeared in space and Jinzo told Seto that no monster that couldn't fly or had lower than 8 stars could destroy his monster. At that time Satellite Cannon took aim at Seto's monsters.
Meanwhile Tristin(one of the Big Five) had taken Mokuba to Noa. Both of them were watching the duel on a tv screen.
