Tea found herself in a deserted canyon that was filled with rocks. Joey found himself in front of a large house. Duke and Tristin found themselves in a long hallway. Serenity was by a river. Mokuba and Seto were on a dirt road that was surrounded by trees. Meanwhile Noa was watching all of them. Yugi stood alone next to a lake. He then suddenly heard a laugh and saw Deep Sea Warrior. Yami then took over. Deep Sea Warrior challenged Yugi to a duel and told him to choose his deck from the card database.
Yugi chose cards for his deck. Deep Sea Warrior then told Yugi to pick his Deck Master. As Yugi looked through his deck, he saw the Dark Magician. As he was about to choose it, Kuriboh appeared by his side. Yugi told Deep Sea Warrior that he didn't choose Kuriboh, but Deep Sea Warrior then told him that it was too late. Yugi then decided to count on Kuriboh.
Deep Sea Warrior summoned a monster in defence mode. Yugi then summoned Obnoxious Celtic Guardian(1400/1200). Celtic Guardian then destroyed the face down monster. Deep Sea Warrior explained that this monster force Yugi to discard a card from his hand. The monster also had another special effect which allowed Deep Sea Warrior to summon a monster from his deck in defence mode. Yugi discarded a card from his hand while Deep Sea Warrior was able to summon a monster in defence mode.
Serenity stood by the river. She was suprised about how real it seemed. She then saw clouds headed her way. Inside the large house, Joey walked down the stairs, angry that the Big Five had survived. He yelled, telling the Big Five to come out and fight him. He then turned around and started yelling again, but he blushed as he realised he had been yelling at an empty suit of armor. Duke and Tristin ran down the hallway, yelling for Serenity. Duke commented that the hallway was extremely long.
As Seto and Mokuba walked, Seto told Mokuab that the virtual world was too complex for Noa or the Big Five to have put together. Though Mokuba was worried, Seto told him that they would find an exit soon. Meanwhile, abck at the duel, Deep Sea Warrior summoned Epila in attack mode, allowing him to draw a card. Deep Sea Warrior then switched Sniper Bird into attack mode, forcing yugi to discard another card.
In the hallway, Duke and Tristin were exhausted. They knew that the hallway had no end. Tristin then suggested that they break their way out. He took an axe from one of the suits or armor and began to hit the wall. In the desert, Tea knew that someone was following her. She turned around and saw Hitatsu-Me Giants. She started to run and they followed her. One of them even threw an axe at her. Meanwhile, Mokuba saw a door appear in front of them. He opened the door. All he and Seto found was a memory of the orphange they used to live in.
Back at the duel, Yugi had no idea what to do. He played Polymerization, fusing Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts and Beformet to create Dark Chimera.He then activated Quick Attack, allowing Dark Chimera to attack.However, Deep Sea Warrior activated his deck master special ability, sacraficing his two monsters so he could reflect Dark Chimera's attack. Dark Chimera ended hitting Yugi's life points directy(Yugi's LP:1900).Yugi must win so he could save his friends. But can he win when he doesn't know much about the Deck Master rules?
