Mai has had no signs of recovering yet, but she and Serenity appear to be sleeping, just like Ishizu and Odion.Tea is under Bakura's covers, after being controlled by Marik. Meanwhile, Seto is wide awake, still trying to translate the text on the Egyptian Winged Dragon of Ra, also trying to figure out how he is able to understand it.
In the dueling arena, Yami Marik informs Yami Bakura that the winner of the duel will be banished to the Shadow Realm. Yami Bakura is confident that he will win, but Yami Marik thinks Bakura will have no chance. However, Yami Marik also knows that Marik is sharing Bakura's mind, able to tell Yami Bakura Yami Marik's every move.
Unconcerned about this, Yami Marik tells them that the deck he is using is not the same one Marik had made for the tournament, and that he will soon send both Marik and Yami Bakura to the Shadow Realm. Yami Bakura is tired of the talking, but allows Marik to go back into his own mind. Marik tells Yami Marik that he will soon be defeated, but Yami Marik tells him that they are both as bad as eachother, and it was Marik that allowed him to cotnrol him.
Marik explains to Yami Marik that it was not Shadi who killed his father, but Yami Marik, and that he would soon have revenge on him. Yami Marik informs Marik that it is too late for vengeance, and Yami Bakura is intrigued by the two's past. Seeing that the symbols on Marik mean something, Yami Bakura refuses to duel until Marik tells them what they mean.
Marik agrees to their new deal as Yami Marik calls forward the Shadow Realm. Yami Marik informs Yami Bakura that as the duel oes on, piece by piece of their bodies will be gone. Yami Bakura sets one card and summons Goblin Zombie(1100/1050).
Not inmpressed by Yami Bakura's monster, Yami Marik summons Drillago(1600/1100) and orders it to attack.Yami Bakura activates Fearful Earthbound, that whenever Yami Marik attacks, his life points will be reduced by 500. Yami Marik destroys Yami Bakura's monster, and then activates Remove Trap on Fearful Earthbound. (Yami bakura's LP: 3500). Although Yami Bakura is not worried about the loss in life points, Yami Marik tells him t look down at his arm. Yami Bakura looks down, surprised to see that his arm is fading. Yami Marik reminds him that as life points go away, a body apart will be lost. But Yami Bakura is still confident that he will be victorious, even against the power of Ra.
Back inside the blimp, Yugi nwas having a restless night. He then found himself transported into his mind. He did not reconize the play room he was in, but he then opened a door that led into a dark corridor. Yugi reconized as the place where he first met Shadi. Entering Yami's room, Yugi was suprised at how complex it was. Yami arrived to see Yugi. Yugi explained that eh beleived that things were getting out of hand. Yugi also told Yami that the paths in Yami's minds were the similar to the mysteries of Yami's past. Yami agreed with his partner.
Meanwhile at the duelling arena, things were not looking good for Yami Bakura since his Destiny Board would not be that affective against Yami Marik since Yami Marik had already seen the card been used against Yugi. Yami Bakura also worried that Yami Marik would summon the Winged Dragon of Ra. If the god card was summoned, the duel would quickly finish. Marik grew tired of Yami Bakura worrying, telling him not to worry about Ra. Yami Bakura then told Marik to stop interfering. Yami Bakura then warned Marik that his body may be lost, but Marik didn't care, as long as Yami Marik was defeated.
Yami Bakura set two cards and then summoned Gurneya(1300/1200) in defence mode. Yami Marik was curious what Yami Bakura had planned. Yami Marik then activated Card of Sanctity, allowing each player to draw cards till they had six in their hand. Yami Bakura sensed that his opponent stil didn't have the God card in his hand, so he activated Multiple Destruction, forcing each player to discard thier hand and draw five new cards. However, Yami Bakura was forced to pay life points for each card his discard(Yami Bakura's LP:2900). Yami Marik wondered why Yami Bakura was willing to lose parts of his body to get Ra into Yami Marik's hand.
Back in Yugi's mind, Yami explained that he still hadn't had any success in discovering the door that would unlock his past. Yami then suggested that they would need to look at the images on marik's back in order to discover the truth.
Back at the duel, Yami Bakura sacraficed Gurneya to summon Puppet Master(0/0). Yami Bakura then used its special effedct to summon three monsters from his graveyard; the Headless Knight(1450/1700), the Earl of Demise(2000/700), and Goblin Zombie(1100/1050). These monsters were not allowed to attack during that turn, but Yami Bakura didn't care. Yami Bakura then activated Dark Designator, forcing Yami Marik to draw the Winged Dragon of Ra from his deck.
With Ra in Yami Mirik's hand, Yami Bakura was sure that he would soon be holding the card. Activating Exchange, Yami Bakura took the God card from his opponent's hand while Yami Marik took Monster Reborn. Yami Bakura was pleased that he would be able to summon this God card next turn, but Yami Marik taunted him that he would be unable to control the card. Yami Bakura then decided to ignore Yami marik, telling him that he shoudl be worried because Marik knew everything about him. Yami Marik commented that he didn't need Marik at all. Marik told Yami marik that Yami Marik could not survive without him. Marik then prepared to summon the God card.
