Ishizu then revealed her face down card, Exchange of Spirit. Ishizu sacraficed 1000 life points(Ishizu's LP:1400) to switch decks with Seto. Seto realised that Ishizu had lured him into using both the Crush Card and the Virus Cannon. Seto was stunned, since now he only had six cards left in his deck, while Ishizu's deck was loaded with powerful monsters. In the computer room, Mokuba was making progress translating the text on the Winged Dragon of Ra. However, he saw what had just happened to his brother and stopped working so he could support his brother. Back at the duel, Yugi and Yami Marik were both impressed by Ishizu's move. Ishizu then summoned Kelbek(1500/1800). Ishizu then ended her turn by setting a card. Seto was furious as he drew the first of the six cards. As he tried to figure out a way of winning, Mokuba arrived. Seto was not pleased at all since Mokuba hadn't translated the last line of text of the Winged Dragon of Ra.
Ishizu then informed Seto that he had drawn Virus Cannon. She dared him to use it, but as Seto tried to play it, Ishizu activated Drop Off, forcing Seto to discard it. Ishizu then asked Seto if he still beleived if she was a fraud. She was not suprised at all when Seto didn't reply. As Ishizu's turn began, Yugi explained to Joey that Seto wanted Ishizu to summon more monsters so he could play Soul Exchange and summon Obelisk. Ishizu summoned Zorga(1700/1200). Ishizu sensed Seto's plan. Yugi tried to warn Seto that Ishizu was expecting Seto to play Soul Exchange, but Seto ignored Yugi, still beleiving that Obelisk was the key to victory. Ishizu then ordered both her monsters to attack Seto's Gremlin and his lfie points(Seto's LP:1350). Ishizu then ended her turn by setting a card. As Seto drew, he was worried about Ishizu's new face down card. Ishizu then activated a second Drop Off, forcing him to discard yet another card. Seto began to worry that he may not have enough time to summon Obelisk. However, Mokuba was still determined that his big brother would win.
Seto set one card and ended his turn. Ishizu then set a card of her own. Seto hoped that she would summon a monster, not realising that Ishizu's face down card would infect Obelisk. Ishizu then summoned Ajito(1500/1300). Seto was pleased, but he was concerned that Ishizu may know what he had planned for her. Seto then played Soul Exchange, sacrafing Ishizu's three monsters to summon Obelisk the Tormentor. As Obelsik appeared, the gang was worried that Seto may not be able to defeat Ishizu, but Yami Marik was not sure. Little did Seto realise that when he had played Soul Exchange, Ishizu had activated her trap card, Sacrafice's Blast. When Obelisk was ordered to attack, it would self destruct and destroyed Seto.Everyone wondered how Seto could lose, but Ishizu was determined that she would win. Ishizu told Seto to attack.
As Ishizu looked forward to her victory and Yami Marik looked forward to duelling her, the Millenium Rod began to glow. Visions of the stone tablet in the museum flashed through Seto's mind. The carving of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon also flashed through Seto's mind, along with the image of an ancient sorceror holding a girl in his arms. Seto began to wonder if attacing with Obelisk was the right thing to do. Yami marik wondered if someone else had tapped into the power of his Millenium Rod. Yugi realised that the rod had shown Seto something. Seto had understood the vision and activated Silent Doom to revive his Gadget Soldier(1800/2000) in defence mode.
Ishizu was startled by the move for she had not forseen it. She became even more concerned when Seto sacraficed Gadget Soldier and Obelisk to summon the Blue-Eyes White Dragon(3000/2500). Ishizu tried to find out how she could have made a mistake with her Millenium Ring. Seto explained that each person controlled their own destiny. Ishizu realised that somethign from Kaiba's past must have awakened inside of himself. As Seto attacked with his Blue-Eyes, Ishizu was impressed instead of disappointed.
Mokuba was pleased that Seto won. Yugi was sure that the Millenium Rod had shown Seto his past. Yugi hoped that Seto would now beleive in the power of destiny. Seto insisted that he won with his own skill, not because of fate. Ishizu thanked Seto for showing her the true nature of destiny. Ishizu hoped that she could be able to save her brother with the support of Yugi and Seto. Even though Seto was unwilling to help anybody other than himself, Ishizu was sure that he would soon accept his destiny.
