Seto is still on the platform, waiting for the eight duelist. As the gang appears onboard, they see that the eight duelist hasn't arrived yet. Yugi hopes that the eighth duelist isn't working for Yami Marik. Seto appears to have no concern for who the eight duelist is, for he'll crush them easily with his egyptian god card, Obelisk the Tormentor. Mokuba contacts Seto, and tells him that the computer is beginning to translate the text on the Winged Dragon of Ra.
Seto gets tired of waiting, so a five minutes are limited to the arrival of his opponent. Yugi tries talking Seto into landing the ship, but Seto refuses, telling Yugi that he wouldn't stop the ship for Mai either. The gang get angry at Seto's attitude, and Seto gets confident that his opponent was afraid of him and backed out.Just as he is about to be declared the winner by default, the eighth duelist appears onboard.
The eighth duelist is hiding her face with a cloth, and as she walks onboard, both Seto and the umpire demand for her identity. She taked the cloth mask off her face, and everyone is surprised to see that the eighth duelist is Ishizy Ishtar. Marik tries to contact his sister mentally, but is stopped by Yami Marik. Seto is amused to see that the same person who gave him his egyptian god card is now trying to win it back.
Ishizu explains that she is here to save Marik, her brother. Everyone onboard are surprised to see that Marik and Ishizu are siblings, and Ishizy goes on to explain that good still resides within Marik.She tells Seto that she has forseen the out come of thia duel, and that she will be the winner.
Seto is confident that Ishizu is blufing, and warns her that he'll crush her with the enourmous power of Obelisk the Tormentor. Seto then realises that he was manipuilated, and that Ishizu told him to start the tournament so that she could save her brother. Ishizu informs him that the only one who can save her brother is Yami. Seto is amused that Ishizu believes in the superstitions, but he is not totally confident that they are stories as he remembers the sights Ishizu gave him of his so-called ancient past.
Seto gets tired and demand that their duel begins. He starts the duel and summons Vorse Raider(1900/1200) in attack mode. Ishizu forsees that he will set one card, and he does. Ishizu then tels Seto that she knows every move he will make, and Yugi starts doubting that Seto will win. Meanwhile, Mokuba is still having trouble translating the last line of text of the Winged Dragon of Ra.
As Seto ends his turn, Ishizu draws a card, and summons Keldo(1200/1600) in defense mode without lokking at it. Joey thinks that Ishizu might be playing the same sort of trick that Espa Roba did, although Yugi tells him that Ishizu's powers are very real. Marik too is thinking about Ishizu's powers, except he knows her limits.
Ishizu continues her turn by playing Michizure of Doom, a card that allows each player to choose two cards from eachother's hand, and discard it to the graveyard. Again, without looking at Seto's cards, she tells him to discard Polymerization and Kaiser Glider. Seto is still certain that Ishizu is playing some trick on him, and tells Ishizu to show him her hand. Ishizu shows it, and Seto tells her to discard Revival Magic and Monster Reborn.
Marik recognises Ishizu's strategy, and remembers when she would use it against him to beat him in the past. Yet he was certain that he would be able to defeat her in later rounds during the tournament. Ishizu meanwhile tries to contact her brother mentally, but is bloked by Yami Marik, who tells her that Marik's mind has been sealed away forever.
Seto orders his Vorse Raider to attack, and destroys her Keldo.Seto is sure of victory, and as he prepares to play Crush Card Virus, he does no know that Ishizu is prepared for it. He sets a card and ends his turn. Ishizu seems unaware of the Crush Card, and summons Mudora(1500/1800). Ishizu tells Seto that she will beat him when he tries to use Obelisk the Tormentor. Seto does not care, and demands that Ishizu finish her move. Ishizu plays Sword of Durga, and attacks Kaiba's Vorse Raider with an attakc of 2000.
Seto is pleased to see tat Ishizu has fallen into his trap, and activates Shrink to reduce Vorse Raider's attack to 950. He then activated his Crush Card Virus and sacrifices Vorse Raider. (Kaiba's LP:2950). Ishizu is forced to send all monsters with an attack of 1500 or less to the graveyard. While both Yugi and Joey are wondering why Ishizufell for the trao, she activated Swords of Revealing Light.
Seto is still amused that Ishizu has to stall in hope to win, but Ishizu is still confident. Ishizu knows that Seto has Virus Cannon in his hand, so she ends her turn. Yami Marik is interested in the mind games Ishizu is playing.
Seto summons Dark Gremlin(1600/1800) in defense mode, and sets Virus Cannon facedown to end his turn. Ishizu drws a card, and warns Seto that she will win in just two turns. Seto tells Ishizu that to win in duel monsters, you do not have to use trickery. Meanwhile, Mokuba has almost finished translating the Winged Dragon of Ra's text.
Seto tells Ishizu that he would love to see her winning strategy, if she actually had one. Ishizu suggests that Seto passess and he does.Ishizu draws the card that she needed, and ends her turn, the Swords of Revealing Light fading away. Seto doubts that Ishizu could defeat him, and remembers what Ishizu told him at the museum. He draws his card, and somehow knows that it is Obelisk the Tormentor.
He switches Dark Gremlin into attack mode, and attacks Ishizu's life points directly (Ishizu's LP: 2400).Seto is confident that he will win, but Ishizu tells him that Obelisk will be the one to seal his defeat. But Seto doesn't believe her, and is still sure that Obelisk the Tormentor will acheive victory.
