Not able to sacrafice monsters, Yugi and Seto's God cards were useless. Yugi summoned Kuriboh in defence mode and ended his turn by setting a card. Yugi asked Seto if they could work more like a team, but Seto told Yugi that he could win by himself. As Umbra's second turn began, he was worried about Seto's face down card. Using hidden microphones, Lumis told Umbra not to worry about them. Umbra set a card and ordered Shining Abyss to attack Vorse Raider, but Seto activated Bell of Destruction of Shining Abyss. Umbra then activated Move the Trap, moving the bell to Vorse Raider. As Vorse raider exploded, Seto activated Defence Wheel, but Umbra activated Move the Magic, using Defence Wheel for himself(Seto's LP:2100). Umbra then ordered Shining Abyss to finish off Seto.
At the hospital, Tristin arrived to take Serenity to the finals. Serenity was excited to be leaving the hospital. Tristin asked her whether she wanted to remove her bandages yet, but Serenity told him that she wanted Joey to be there when she did. The two left the hospital and headed for Domino Town. Elsewhere in the hospital, Solomon Moto was watching Bakura sleep. Little did he know, but Yami Bakura was in control of the body. Meanwhile, Tea was trapped in a large room in some warehouse near the docks. Tea wondered where she was and where Joey was. Tea realised that she must have been kidnapped because someone wanted to beat Yugi, although she was not sure exactly why.
Back at the duel, Yugi had activated Multiply, multiplying Kuribo and blocking Umbra's attack. Seto was annoyed that Yugi had saved him. Seto then told Yugi not to help him anymore, but Yugi refused explaining that if one of them lost, the other one would lose quickly. Back at the warehouse, Tea was stacked some of the boxes so that she could escape. She almost reached the roof, but the boxes below her collapsed, sending her sprawling onto the floor.At this time, the door to the room opened and Mokuba was thrown in. Mokuba explained that he was captured while trying to find Joey and that the people who had kidnapped them were called rare hunters. tea asked why the rare hunters were after them. Mokuba explained that both Seto and Yugi had a God card and the rare hunters were after these. Tea wasn't so sure about this answer though and was sure that there was something more behind it.
As the duel continued, Seto drew one of his Blue-Eyes, but he realised that it was useless as long as the Mask of Restrict was on the field. Seto set a card and summoned Battle Ox in defence mode. With thousands of Kuriboh on the field, it looked like Yugi and Seto had a really good defence, but Lumis assured Umbra that all that was about to change.Lumis activated the Mask of Dispel, negating the effect of Multiply and causing Yugi to lose 500 extra life ponts each standby phase. With only one Kuriboh remaining, Lumis summoned Grand Tiki Leader and destroyed the last Kuriboh. As Yugi's turn began(Yugi's LP:2500) he wondered if he should play Card Destruction. Seto told him that he had all useless card sin his hand. Umbra and Lumis thought the two duellists were arguing, but Yugi got the hint and set Card Destruction. Umbra then played Curse of the Masked Beast, sacraficing Shining Abyss and Grand Tiki Master to summon the Masked Beast(3200/1800).
The Masked Beast attacked Yugi, but Seto used Battle Ox to protect Yugi. Yugi began to think that Seto needed his help. Seto told Yugi that he was only repaying the debt. At this time, Yugi activated Card Destruction. Umbra and Lumis were furious, but both Yugi and Seto were happy. Seto then activated his face down Monster Reborn to reborn his Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Even though Yugi and Seto have surpassed the Mask of Restrict, can they beat the Masked Beast?
