Meanwhile, Joey had been unable to find other duellists, so he was worried. As he headed own a street, he heard a kid calling out to him. he stopped and turned around. The kid caught up and asked Joey for his autograph. Joeycstarted bragging. The kid then asked Joey if he could see Joey's Duel Disk. Jowy wasn't sure, but he took it off and gave it to the kid. The kid then ran off with it. As Joey chased after the thief, Tea, Tristin, and Solomon had arrived in town when then saw Joey chasing the thief. Tristin leaped in front of the kid and grabbed him. The kid explained that he needed the Duel Disk to take his revenge on a duellist who stole his deck. Solomon explained that he had been as low as the duellist who stole his deck. The kid then described Weevil, so Joey decided to avenge the kid and defeat Weevil.
As Joey and the rest of the gang left to find Weevil, the kid met up with Weevil in an alley. The kid explained that everything went according to plan and asked Weevil for the rare card he had promised him. Weevil gave him a Gobikore, which everybody had. Weevil then sprayed the kid with some kind of web before leaving.
At the hospital, Serenity lying in her bed when one of the nurses walked in and asked her if a boy named Kenta had come in. Serenity told her no, but as soon as the nurse left, she told the boy to come out of hiding. Kenta asked her how she knew that he was here. Serenity told him that she had heard him come in. Kenta thanked her and told her that the doctors wanted him to take an x-ray, but he didn't want too, so he had hidden in her room. Serenity told Kenta that he could hide here as long as he told her how Joey was doing in Battle City.
Back at Battle City, Joey and the gang were still searching for Weevil when they found him in a park. Tristinwanted to settle the matter with a fight, but Joey deicded to duel him. Weevil suggested that both of them risk two locator cards and joey accepted his terms. Joey then started the duel by summoning the Swordsman of Landstar(500/1200) in attack mode. Joey ended his turn by setting a card. Weevil summoned Flying Kamikari(1400/900) and attacked, but Joey activated Sword and Shield, destroying Flying Kamikari(Weevil's LP:3700). Weevil then informed Joey that Flying Kamikari's destruction allowed him to summon Flying Kamikari #2(1500/800).
Back at the hospital, Kenta had entered the Battle City website and found Joey. He told Serenity that Joey was duelling Weevil Underwood, a top notch duellist, but Serenity wasn't worried. Back at the duel, Joey sacraficed Swordsman of Landstar to summon Jinzo. Jinzo attacked and destroyed Flying Kamikari #2(Weevil's LP:2800). Weevil set a monster. Joey attacked this monster with Jinzo, but the face down monster was Kisetai. Kisetai attacked itself to Jinzo. Weevil explained that each turn, Kisetai would incrase Weevil's life points by half of Jinzo's attack. Weevil set a monster and ended his turn. His life points then increased to 4000. Joey ordered Jinzo to attack, but the face down monster was Flying Ladybug, which increased Weevil's life points by 500(Weevil's LP:4500).
Solomon warned Joey that most insect type monsters had special abilities so he should be careful. Weevil set yet another monster and ended his turn(Weevil's LP:5700). At the hospital, Kenta told Serenity the Joey was losing. Serenity still didn't give up hope though, determined that her brother would win. At the duel, Joey summoned Panther Warrior(2000/1600). Joey sacraficed Jinzo and allowed Panther Warrior to destroy Weevil's face down monster. Weevil then played Larvae Moth and equipped it with Cocoon of Evoltuion(0/2000). Joey remembered that Weevil had used this same combo against Yugi. Weevil then activated Reckless Parasite and activated Joey's Parasite Paracide. Joey was shocked to see this monster, but then he realised that the thief had been working for Weevil and had snck it into his deck. Parasite Paracide infected Joey's Panther Warrior, but its attack and defence remained the same. Weevil set a card and then told Joey not to underestimate the power of a parasite. Weevil then told Joey that he was no longer able to sacrafice monsters.
Joey summoned Tiny Guardian(1400/1800). Joey then realised that Weevil had left his Cocoon in attack mode, so he attacked it. Weevil activated Insect Barrier, stopping all insect monsters from attacking, meaning all of joey's monsters were useless. With only four turns left until the Ultimate Great Moth hatched, Weevil decided to hurt Joey even more. Weevil summoned Leghul(300/250) and attacked Joey's life points directly(Joey's LP:3700). Joey switched both his monsters to defence mode. Weevil's Leghul then attacked again(Joey's LP:3400) and again(Joey's LP:3100). Determined not to lose just yet, Joey summoned Alligaotr Sword in defence mode and set one card. At this Wevil's Cocoon hatched, revealing thwe Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth(3500/3000). Not being able to attack, it looks over for Joey.
