Match of the Millenium(2)
Back in the arena, Pegasus was confident that he knew Yugi's next move, playing Spellbinding Circle with his Summoned Skull. As Yugi set a card and summoned Summoned Skull in defence mode. Pegasus switched Ryu-Ran into attack mode and attacked Summoned Skull. Yugi activated his Spellbinding Circle, cuting Ryu-Ran's attack power by 700 points and blocking the attack. Pegasus then set a trap card of his own. As Yugi switched his Summoned Skull to attack mode and attacked, Pegasus activated Displacement, shifting Spellbinding Circle to Yugi's Summoned Skull, weakening it. Ryu-Ran then attacked Summoned Skull and destroyed it(Yugi's LP:1400).
Meanwhile, Bakura had used his Millenium Ring to find Tristin. He found Tristin trapped in a passageway between two guards. Tristin told Bakura to run for it, but Bakura instead drew Chain Energy from his deck. He used his shadow magic to activate it and trap the guards. As the guards struggled with the card, Tristin and Bakura escaped with Mokuba.
Back at the arena, Yugi was stressed that there was no where to hide from the Millenium Eye. Joey also realized this and wondered if there way anyway that his friend could win. Tea told them that there must be some way to win and he urged yugi to keep on fighting. With Pegasus knwing all of Yugi's cards and having created a strategy to stop each one of them, the odds of Yugi winning seemed hopeless. Jus as things are looking bad for Yugi, Pegasus played one of his favorite cards, Toon World. Toon World transformed Pegasus's Ryu-Ran and Red Archery Girl into toons. Manga Ryu-Ran then destroyed Yugi's Giant Soldier of Stone(he set this earlier). Pegasus then switched Toon Mermaid int attack mode and ended his turn.
Yugi then summoned Celtic Guardian and attacked Toon Mermaid. Instead of destroying each other, Toon Mermaid caught Celtic Guardian's attack and then destroyed it. Pegasus informed Yugi that brute force couldn't defeat his Toon monsters. Pegasus set two cards and ended his turn. Yugi then played Horn Imp in defence mode, but Pegasus activated Gorgon's Eye. Horn Imp was turned to stone. Pegasus then revealed his other face down card, Doppelganger. Doppelganger copied yugi's Summoned Skull. Summoned Skull entered Toon World and became Toon Summoned Skull. Toon Summoned Skull then destroyed Horn Imp(Yugi's LP:900)(Everytime a monster is turned to stone by Gorgon's Eye, when it is destroyed, half the monster's defence is subtracted from the owner's life points. As Yugi drew his nex card, Pegasus informed everyone that it was the Dark Magician. Pegasus told Yugi that he looked forward to destroying Yugi's favorite card.
Meanwhile Tristin and Bakura were still being chased through the castle. They reached the top of the stairway and found a dead end. Tristin decided to give up, but Bakura told him not to. Bakura then took out his deck and prepared to get some help from the shadow realm. Can Yugi beat Pegasus as long as Pegasus has the Millenium Eye and can Bakura's Millenium Ring save Tristin and Mokuba?
