Keith told Joey that he was just a speed bump on his way to duel Pegasus and that he would beat Joey and Yugi easily. Joey told Keith he was wrong. Joey told Keith that even if Keith did beat him, which Keith wouldn't, he would never beat Yugi.
Keith then set a card and summoned Barrel Dragon. Barrel Dragon used its triple cannon assault and destroyed all of Joey's monsters(Joey's LP:850). Shocked, but not yet defeated, Joey counted by summoning Baby Dragon. Joey then summoned Time Wizard and activated its special effect. Time Roulette landed on Time Machine. Baby Dragon became Thousand Dragon and Keith's Barrel Dragon rusted. Joey then attacked Barrel Dragon with Thousand Dragon. Joey thought Barrel Dragon had been destroyed until Keith activated his Time Machine card. Time Machine revived Barrel Dragon to is original state. Barrel Dragon the destroyed Thousand Dragon(Joey's LP:650). Keith told Joey that he had expected that combo after seeing every card in Joey's deck when he duelled Bones.
Joey was shocked by Keith, so he just set a monster in defence mode and ended his turn. Keith summoned Slot Machine and attacked the face down monster with Barrel Dragon. The face down monster was destroyed. As Joey looked at his hand, he realized that his strongest monster, the Red-Eyes Bllack Dragon, could defeat Keith's machines. Joey summoned it anyway and set a card. Keith attacked Red-Eyes woth Barrle Dragon, but Joey activated Copycat. Joey copied Keith's Magic Metal Force and transformed his Red-Eyes into a Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon. Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon withstood Barrel Dragon's attack and Barrle Dragon was destroyed (Keith's LP:900).
Keith then played one card face down and switched Slot Machine to defence mode. Joey also played a face down card and attacked with his Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon. Keith activated Seven Completed and powered up his Slot Machine's defence. The attack was deflected(Joey's LP:450). Keith warned Joey he had two more Seven Completeds in his deck. Joey wasn't concerned though because he doubted that Keith would draw them. As Keith drew a card from his deck, he took a Seven Completed from his wristband. Joey and the gang didn't notice, but Pegasus did, though he kept quiet. Keith activated it and power up his Slot Machine's attack power. Keith the summoned Blast Sphere and attached it to Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon. As soon as Keith ended his turn, it would self destruct, destrying Joey's Red-Eyes and the rest of his life points. As Keith ended his turn, Joey activated Dragon Nails, allowing his Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon to withstand that attack(Keith's LP:400).
Keith then drew the final Seven Completed from his wristband. He played it and power up his Slot Machine's attack even further. Keith then switched his Slot Machine to attack mode and ended his turn. Joey considered playing the Sword and Shield card, but he knew it would help Keith. Joey just set a card furing his turn. Keith then told Joey that the duel was over. Keith played the Pillager and took Joey's Sword and Shield card from his hand. Keith played it, making his Slot Machine more powerful than Joey's Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon. As Slot Machine attacked, Joey activated his trap card. Keith thought that he had won the duel, but then he saw Joey's Graverobber clutching his Time Machine trap card. The Time Machine appeared with Joey's Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon's attack back to full power. Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon attacked and destroyed Keith's Slot machine(Keith's LP:0000).
Both Keith and Pegasus were shocked. Pegasus was pleased to see Joey win. Keith then told everyone that the duel shouldn't count because the playoff card that Joey showed wasn't his. Joey agreed and told everyone that Mai had given it to him, but then he asked Keith how he knew. Keith was startled. Pegasus then told everyone that Keith had stolen Joey's card. The gang then argued that Keith should be disqualified. Pegasus told everyone that keith shouldn't be disqualified for misdeeds outside the arena, but inside as well. Pegasus told everyone that Keith kept his set of Seven Completeds in his wristband.
Pegasus guards then came and took Keith away. Pegasus congratulated Joey on winning the duel. At this time, Keith broke free from the guards and jumped into the area where Pegasus was sitting. Keith told Pegasus to hand over the prize money. Pegasus then pushed a button. A hole appeared in the floor and Keith fell through it all the way down to the sea. A ten minute recess was then called before the final duel. But will Yugi and Joey be able to duel each other with so much at stake?
