Meanwhile the gang had just gotten out of the labyrinth and were headed towards Pegasus's castle. Tea was so proud of Yugi for getting 10 starchips. She then though that there may be two Yugis, the normal one and the one that duels. Tea remembered the duel between Yugi and Bakura and how there had been a small Yugi and a big Yugi that was duelling. She then tried to ask him, but the others called for them to hurry up. As the others headed off, Tea remembered how Yugi had helped her become a dancer. "He had found a dance studio for her. She had went to the dance studio, only to find it empty. A mugger then appeared and told her to hand over all her money. Yugi had appeared and challenged him to a game. They both would draw a card from Yugi's deck and the monster with the better attack power would win. If Yugi won then the mugger would never bother Tea again. The mugger drew Curse of Dragon, but Yugi drew his Dark Magician. The mugger then tried to beat Yugi up, but Yami banished him to the shadow realm." Tea tried to ask Yugi what happened that day, but Yugi told her that by the time he realised what had happened, the mugger was already unconscious. The gang then called out again for the two to hurry up. As they reached Pegasus's castle, they found Seto blocking the entrance. Seto challenged Yugi to a duel. Yugi refused since he didn't want to risk his starchips. Seto called Yugi a coward. Joey then got in the way and told Seto that he would duel him. Seto last and reminded Joey what had happened the last time the two of them had duelled. Seto was suprised that Joey had 10 starchips, but he was still determined to duel Yugi. Seto then told Yugi that he understood the heart of the cards. Yugi then transformed into Yami and Yami accepted Seto's challenge. At this time Tea noticed that Yugi had changed again. As the group headed off for the duelling field on a tower, Bandit Keith had just arrived in the castle. Kemo informed him that the real fun was about to begin. As Seto and Yugi put their decks into Seto's Duel Disk, Keith was in a tower overseeing the duel. He was suprised that the gang had made it out of the cave.
Seto started the duel by playing Ryu-Kishin in attack mode. Yugi summoned Curse of Dragon and destroyed Ryu-Kishin. Seto played Swordstalker in attack mode. Swordstalker gained 400 points for Ryu-Kishin being in the graveyard. Seto attacked Curse of Dragon with Swordstalker, but Yugi activated Switch, switching his Curse of Dragon for his Dark Magician (in his hand). Dark Magician destroyed Swordstalker(Seto's LP:1500). Seto then summoned La Jinn. Yugi resummoned his Curse of Dragon and attacked with his Dark Magician. Seto activated Ancient Lamp. Ancient Lamp protected his La Jinn and reflected the Dark Magician's attack right back at Curse of Dragon. Curse of Dragon was destroyed(Yugi's LP:1500). Yugi congratulated Seto on the move. Little did he know that Seto was stalling so he could draw all three of his Blue-Eyes.
