Meanwhile Yugi and his friends noticed kemo, one of Pegasus's guards grabbing a kid with no starchips. The boy said that his starchips were stolen, but Kemo doesn't care how he lost them. then kid then told Yugi that his starchips were stolen by a kid in a bandana. Yugi and his friends hurry to find the theif, because they only had thrity minutes till the boy leaves the island. The gang went to the duelling arena where then starchips were stolen. As they reached the duelling arena, the thief jumped out of the bushes and challenged Yugi to a duel. They both bet 5 starchips each.
As the two prepared to duel, the thief remembered what had happened to him in the last couple of days. "In the offices of KaibaCorp, Seto told Mokuba that eh wasn't going to duel anymore because he lost part of himself after he lost to Yugi."
Mokuba started the duel by summoning the Man Eating Plant in attack mode. Yugi summoned the Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1 and destroyed Mokuba's Man Eating Plant(Mokuba's LP:1400). Yugi then warned Mokuba that he can't win with a deck that he isn't connected to. Mokuba told Yugi that the cards are all about power and not heart. Yugi then realised that his opponent was Mokuba. Mokuba took off his mask and tells Yugi that it is his fault that Seto went away and Pegasus was trying to take over KaibaCorp.
"Not long after Seto left, Pegasus made contact with the Big Five. Pegasus offered a merger between KaibaCorp and Industrial Illusions. Both parties agreed that Seto had to be taken out of the picture to merge and that a member of the Kaiba family must be running the company, so Mokuba must become a prisoner so they could run the company in his name. Yugi also must be defeated to restore KaibaCorps good name. Mokuba overheard this conversation, but kemo then captured him."
As the duel continued, Mokuba summoned Crocadilus, but Yugi destroyed it(Mokuba's LP:1100). Yugi then explained to Mokuba that he was trying to stop Pegasus too and that the two of them should work together.. Mokuba refused and told Yugi that he must defeat Yugi himself in order to save KaibaCorp. Yugi then explained to his friends that Pegasus will never beat him and then never take control of KaibaCorp. While Yugi and his friends were talking, they didn't notice that Mokuba had left the duelling arena. Before Yugi could react, Mokuba had stolen all his starchips and was running off with them. The gang stopped him before he got away. Yugi then told Mokuba that Seto was looking for answers, but promises Seto will soon come back. Mokuba then agreed to work with Yugi against Pegasus. The gang then rushed off to the docks since they only had 3 minutes left to keep the boy on the island.
Meanwhile at an unknown location, Seto had been running simulation after simulation of his duel with Yugi, trying to see how he lost. Seto was unable to find an explanation of how Yugi could have drawn all five pieces of Exodia and won. Seto began to suspect that Yugi was right about the heart of the cards. Determined to beat Yugi next time, Seto had built a new portable duel disk system tha will allow him to duel Yugi anywhere. Before Seto can leave, two of Pegasus's guards break into the room. Seto then grabbed his duel disk case and jumped out the window. The guards looked for him, but they though he was dead. The guards then took his deck back to Pegasus.
Meanwhile at the dock, Yugi and his friends have arrived only to find that the boat had left early.Mokuba then showed Kemo the starchips he had stolen and told Kemo to call back the boat. Kemo then knocked the starchips out of Mokuba's hand into the ocean. The gang then realised that Mokuba had some of Yugi's starchips. Kemo then grabbed Mokuba. Yugi then challenged Kemo to a duel for Mokuba's sake. They then went to a duelling arena, when Kemo informed Yugi that he wouldn't duel Yugi, but an old friend would. Kemo then explained that Yugi's competition had a little accident earlier that day and has come bac for one last duel. The gang looked up a the duelling arena and saw Seto there. Yugi is suprised and wondered if he could beat seto without Exodia.
