	First Duel

Since the first round of duels were finishing, many duelists were being disqualified. Joey was looking for an opponent. Yugi suggested that Joey duel a weak duellist, but Joey wasn't listening and he wanted to win money for his sister quickly. Joey then looked through his deck and saw that most of his monsters were warriors, so the meadow field would help them the most. Yugi and his friends then headed for the meadow area. They found Mai Valentine there, who had just won a duel. Mai's opponent warned them that Mai had psychic powers. Mai then showed them that she had 4 star chips already. Mai then told the gang that her goal was to wipe out all the weak duelists on the island. Mai then challenged Joey to a duel and Joey accepted her challenge. Joey started the duel by summoning Masaki, the Legendary Swordsman in attack mode. It gained a field power bonus(FPB). Mai summoned Harpie Lady from her face down hand. Harpie Lady also gained a FPB and destroyed Masaki. Mai then played a card face down. Joey summoned Tiger Axe, but Mai's Harpie destroyed it too. Mai then played another card face down from her face down hand. Joey began to think that Mai was really psychic. Joey set a monster. Mai activated her face down card, Cyber Shield, to power up Harpie Lady's defence. Harpie Lady then destroyed the face down card. Joey drew a card and Mai claimed she knows what it is. Joey got freaked out. Yugi told him to calm down. Joey calmed down. He started smelling a bunch of different aromas in the air. He had finally discovered Mai's trick. He was now calm. He summoned Baby Dragon in defence mode. Mai activated Elegant Egotist to triple her Harie Lady. Joey then summoned Time Wizard and activated its effect. Baby Dragon grew to a Thousand Dragon and Mai's Harpie Lady Sisters became old. Joey's dragon wiped out Mai's Harpies in one blast, destroying all of Mai's life points.
