Koprivshtitza

Koprivshtitza is an very old town located up in the Balkan mountains about 120km (50miles) from Sofia. It is about 1060m above the sea level. Nobody knows when the tonw was build. Seems like it has been there for ever. It is hard to get to the town because only one little road with lots of turns goes to it. There is only one asphalt street and there are no modern style houses. The town looks pretty much like hundreds of years ago. Almost every house is a little hotel where you could spend the night in room with no modern furniture in it. There are a lot of little bars and restorants. Many people want to go there because it is very quiet town, and it is great for vocations. The air is very clean, and nothing never happens there. So if you are looking for a nice and quiet vocation away from everything and everybody this is your place!
A lot of the town's history is made during the Outaman Empire when Bulgaria was under Tukey's control.
Each summer there is something like a big traditional meeting there. A lot of people from all over the coutry goes there, and there are a lot of Bulgarian music, BBQ, and a lot of fun!
