FAITH & DOUBT
She was a girl who knew nothing of the world. Born of innocense she walked in the valley of the shadow of death. She took every challenger who came here way and fought the good cause. She was willing and able to sacrifice all that she loved and all who she was for the greater good. She was alone in her cause and at times wonder why such a heavy burden fell on a girl. That's it she was just a girl, following in the footsteps of an Elder. She rose each morning with the simple intention to live. That was all to live and let others live too. Let the world be safe from such monsters that plague both our minds and bodies. She would fetch forth in the night and fight these demons. While all those sleep she roam the streets.
It was a time of fury and rage as the Salem witchtrials spread like the plague. Women, men, and children were killed because of trials to see who where witches and who were not. She was afraid but her faith stood true. For she fought demons but it was her own that she could not subdue. So she stayed in the darkness making sure she was never seen, and when night fell she was ready to do battle with the beast. She dressed in white to illuminate her purity. For the time she was born until this moment she had never felt hate. She didn't hate those she killed. She forgave them as the bible does say. She apologize and repent for her sins, she was sening these unholly demons back to the depths of hell. So she continued to fight the worthy cause until the trials caught up to her. The craze ran through her city and people began pointing fingers and when the judgement came they realize that little evil was there. For this girl had fought it but no one knew. She kept the demons at bay, the vampires dusted, and the witches warn away. When the town heard such histeria many things began to happen. She roam through the streets but it was not demons she met. It was people dressed in silly costumes trying to scare each other and wronfully accuse one another.
When the young girl saw this she was disallusioned with this. She knew that mankind was selfish because they are born from sin, but this girl stayed at home one night. She dare not let the people see her and wish for all this to be over so she can continued to fight. But the histeria lasted so long until real demons overtook the town. She stayed quietly in her small house and prayed for a salvation and when she heard the people screaming outside she got her blade.
She was dressed in white as she was accustom too. She walked out her door with a sword in one hand and her cross in the other.
"For thee my lord I will send thine beast to hell, for thee my lord, for thee," she said.
She walked throught the streets and she face the demons that night. She sent each on back to hell as she promised. Her dress no turn are soil by their waste she walked through the street and killed everything she saw. From vampires that overtook the town dressed as people do, she could tell them apart she could aways do. Until she met each on and they were dusted in the end. She dance with the devil that night and walked away safe. She was realived at her sacrifices she had made and hope others would see. That she risk her life for these people and now they know why. The world is not kind, nor is it fair, its ruthless and horrible and people are all she cares. So she walked home the town stood in shook. This young woman had defeated Lucifer's Army unharmed what possibility could that be. So she walked down the street with her head staning tall. She looked at the people and admiration they looked back. One man stood all battered and torn and walked behind her. He wobbled as he stepped but she turned around the man fell to his feet and she swooped down to help. The old man spit in her face and said:
"Witch, you are what brought thy curse to the town."
With that said the rest of the town roar. They began calling her names and stood outside her home. She had never hated one in her life and couldn't start now. People rallied at her door and she did the admirable thing and walked out. She stood at her doors and three men grabbed her. Her white dressed not soiled by evil was pervese by mankind. They grabbed her and hauled her away. She did not cry or say anything to defend herself she just watched. No one in town has stood up for her, she had saved all their lives but when doubt roots into the head of man he is lost. For the town saw her as Lucifer's wife and will burn for such travesty would never happen again.
The girl was held before a judge and jury and none would hear her side. She was condemn and she knew it and did not cry. She held her head up high, she was doing God's work. She had never harmed a man and would not start to do so right now. She knew she could escape but her faith stood strong. She saw the people and hatred in their eyes glared back. She could not tell where such hatred was coming from but it disturbed her in such a way that she too felt darkness inside. Though she walked in the shadows and protected man from evil such as the one's who plague the town she never lost hope. It was optomism that was always at her side.
It was the day that she would be judge and sure enough she was. She stood before the judge who yelled Guilty. The crowds cheered as they too believe they were doing God's work.
So the young girl stood before her cross and was tied to the post where the fires would burn. The judge with a dusk covered mask set the fire that would burn forever in her sould. She could not bear it anymore,

"For my only crime was to sacrifice my life for thee, for risk my life for thee, to hunt demons so thoust children would be free. My only crime was to go out that night and slay the demons that overtook this town. My only crime was to not let you die, for thoust can see I am mortal like thee, but as you judge me now that I love thee. I do not hate nor hold you spite, If I die let heaven take my soul and send another to protect you like me."

The crowd was in an uproar and felt sympathy but the same old man had yelled "Witch" and everyone began to scream at her. She died with a tear in her eye, silent for those could not have the satisfaction to see her suffer. So she died with a burden and her cross and upond her death the demons once again roam the town. They killed everything and everyone in sight.

When doubt is implanted in the heart of man they will do anytihng just to set themselves right? For all those who believe that they do God's work are really doing their own deeds for Pride.
