Dastra is one of the most wonderful dogs I have ever owned.   She is outgoing, social and has loads of personality and athletic ability.   She was a great mom when she had puppies and passes all of these traits on to her offspring.  On top of all of that she is also extremely smart and easy to work with.

Dastra spent the first years of her life helping me as my demo dog in the obedience classes I taught.  The fact that she LOVES to work made it easy and a lot of fun. 

We breezed through getting our BH and CGC.  Next Dastra got to star in three t.v. commercials for the obedience school I worked for.   

Being so easy to work with also got her work  in a photo shoot for the bilboard of a local country music station.  Always the lady, Dastra didn't let the publicity go to her head and remained as down to earth as ever.  
At 9 years of age Dastra is still full of energy and zest for life.   With her retirement from the whelping box complete, she has now decided to pursue her competition career.
 
Dastra now lives on 108 beautiful acres in Michigan with Julie Richards-Mostosky (Alta-Tollhaus GSD).
So far this year they have obtained a CD, four agility titles and legs on what is sure to be many more titles to come.
Above all else Dastra prefers to hang out with Julie, practice her agility and oh yes,  eat ice cream.   :-))
