Manicotti

Manicotti noodles
2 lbs. ground beef 4 C Kraft shredded cheddar cheese
4 slices of white bread torn in small pieces
1/2 C milk
3 eggs
2 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp parsley
1/2 medium sized white onion finely chopped
1 tsp minced or fresh garlic
2 tsp Italian seasoning

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

In a large pan, boil the manincotti noodles being careful not to break them. This takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Do not overcook.

While the noodles are cooking, brown the ground beef until no pink is showing. Remove from heat. Drain the grease off the meat. Add the bread, half of the cheese, and the remaingin ingredients other than the spaghetti sauce, and stir until the bread is moint and the eggs are mixed in well.

Drain the water from the noodles and rinse with cold water.

Pour half of the spaghetti sauce into a well-greased 9 by 13 inch pan.

Stuff each of the noodles with the meat mixture and place in the pan until all noodles and meat mixture is used.

Cover the noodles with the remaining spaghetti sauce and then with the rest of the cheese.

Bake in oven for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.

Serve hot. Serves 6

Easy Onion Burgers

2lbs ground beef
1 package Lipton Onion soup mix
2 tsp pepper

Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl
Shape into patties and fry.

Garnish with cheese, tomato, onion, pickle, lettuce, ketchup, and mustard on a kaiser roll.
