Happy 4th of July
What can be said about the 4th of July that hasn't already been said?

I've been trying for weeks to find just the right words to put here for this holiday.

You see to me the 4th of July isn't just about picnics and fireworks, although it's a great way to celebrate.

To me it's a day to remind us all how lucky we are to be living in this great country.

I recently have worked wth two different men who complained about America.

They complained about the taxes, the government, and just about everything else they could come up with.

Yet they still live here!!!!

Neither of them had been brave enough to fight for America.

Neither of them wanted to LEAVE America.

They only wanted to talk bad about my homeland.

The land that so many young men fought and died for.

I turned 50 this year and there has never been a day in my life that I haven't been thankful that I live in America.

I'm thankful for all those brave men and women who gave us the freedom we enjoy.

During the Vietnam War, there was a saying, "AMERICA LOVE IT, OR LEAVE IT!" I still feel the same way today!

If you don't love America, get out! Or, at least keep your mouth shut.

This is my home, I don't want to hear anyone knocking it.

THANKS TO ALL OF THE ARMED FORCES FOR ALL THAT THEY HAVE DONE TO HELP KEEP AMERICA GREAT!
