There once was a lady more beautiful than most. She had the love of all who knew her.

She taught her children the important things in life. Things like love your kids, your home, and above all else, love God.

She had a smile that would brighten any day.

She cared about her childrens problems, and tried to help them however she could.

She loved to sing and dance and laugh and be happy. She was happy living on her little acreage tending to her sheep.

She never needed alot of money to be happy for she knew material things weren't important.

Her silly little dog kept her company and she babied him like a child.

She read the Bible and prayed always. And she told everyone she met about God and His love.

She had her grouchy moments and insecurities like everyone else, but she was easily forgiven for those times.

She was all a mother should be. She cooked and cleaned and gave all that she had in her to make us happy.

I hope she knew how much I loved her.

That sweet lady was MY MOM. Mom passed away on April 20, 2000. Just one week ago.

This year, her Mothers Day will be spent with her son who left us in 1991.

We will miss her but my brother must be so thrilled to be reunited with his Mama in Heaven.

As for you who still have your Mom with you, enjoy her, love her, and have a wonderful Mother's Day with her.

Written With Love

The following is a poem written by my mother.

A Matter Of Opinion

Boys may be dumb;I'll not disagree, but girls are their equal in stupidity.

They wiggle and wobble on heels too high and giggle and squeal when a boy goes by.

They spend an hour fixing their hair, and it still looks like a bird dwells there.

Their skirts are too short; dresses too tight and petticoats hang-oh what a sight!

Their rooms are a mess- nothing in place Their clothes in every available space.

Bobby pins, p.j.'s, petticoats and jeans, bobby socks, shoes: there's no end it seems.

But though boys are a nuisance and girls have their faults, and maybe they're neither one worth their salt,

The one without the other would sure be lost. So let's get along whatever the cost.

My Child, My Child

I am with you always.

I will never leave you or forsake you.

I will keep you from the evil and wicked one.

I will keep you from the evil that is to come.

For I come very soon and I will take my own unto myself.

That where I am Ye may be also.

Be patient and wait, I am your help, I am your strength.

This was a message my mother got from God. She believed in God and is with him now. I thought she'd like this shared with you.

I hope you enjoyed this page. It was written in memory of my sweet mother.
