Attack on America
.
.
In the last couple of days, America has undergone a tremendous tragedy. In case, youve been living under a rock and dont realize it, America was attacked. Thousands of people are missing. Hundreds are already pronounced dead. That total could go into the thousands. No matter how you look at it, life will never be the same. America is a great country, and I will never live anywhere else. But, things arent the same.

I heard on the news last night that no longer will foreigners be allowed to just enter the US. We have been more than generous by letting so many come in. We allowed people to come into the USA, let them live in a wonderful country. And what do we get in return? People training in our schools, learning to fly our airplanes, only to kill our people. Maybe the Statue of Liberty should change its sign from give us your weak, tired, and poor, to GO AWAY! I know most of the foreigners arent the problem. I know it was only some that were the problem. But, it seems that it is really hard for us to know which ones we should trust.

You wont be able to fly across the country anymore without the fear of hijacking terrorists. Sure the government is making stricter rules for those people who want to fly. There will be better security at the airports. But, how do you know if someone is working for the airlines who just doesnt care if someone slips by when they shouldnt. They said on the news that these people who work for the airports get paid poorly and have jobs they dont care about. I cant imagine them caring if they lose a low paying job that they really dont like. The security people need a reason to care so they will do a good job and care if a hijacker gets past them. Obviously, this wasnt the case this week. It still amazes me that four airliners were hijacked. They said there were between three and six hijackers on each of the planes. That means 12-24 people boarded the airliners with knives and box cutters. And no one knew???????

Freedom of speech will also be a privilege that will change. People will have to watch what they say more. Someone knocking the country will not be ignored. We cant afford to ignore them anymore; they just might be the next ones to want to attack the country. If people had just listened more to these attackers, and taken them seriously, maybe things couldve turned out differently.

What is said on the Internet wont be as private anymore. It cant be. The Internet will most likely be monitored to a degree, taking away another of our freedoms. Believe me I don't blame the government for feeling the need to monitor internet communications. After all, the terrorists used the internet.

Like I said, I love America, and I will always live here. This is still the best place on earth to live. The cowardice acts of terrorists wont ever change the way Americans feel about their country. It only changed the way we will be treating the foreigners. So, the coward who sent all of those hijackers on suicide runs to prove their loyalty for their way of life, only proved he was too much of a coward to commit suicide himself. He never changed the way Americans take care of each other. He never changed the loyalty Americans have for their country. He killed a lot of people and accomplished nothing. Hell pay for what he did, of that I have no doubt. God blesses America and He will continue to do so.

I know a lot of you have opinions and concerns about the things going on . Now is your chance to tell the world. E-mail me and I will put your opinion with your name and link to your homepage on my site.

I had this on the internet for 15 minutes before I got my first response. Obviously, people have strong feelings on this subject. Send yours and I will print it. (No profanity allowed!)
