| September 11 - The Day That Will Always Be Remembered |
| On 9-11 an emergency call came over the country It was heard loud and clear throughout the states and the world This day will forever be remembered in our minds and our history An unforgettable day of destruction and dismay. Our hearts go out for all the lives that were taken And especially for those that put their lives on the line. These victims of hate will never be forgotten. For the families, we are here for you and you will be in our thoughts and prayers. On this day, hate has proven how evil it is Other countries rejoiced, while our friends and fellow citizens died We are grateful for those that joined in our sorrow But hopefully we will not sink to the level of those that planned this. It is the time to stand strong and help those in need We must not let our anger be shown in a negative way We must show our families and friends and even strangers in our country that without them we are lost. For today we stand together as One and help each other. This day will never be forgotten and we should never forget that life is unexpected You never know when something will happen and there is nothing you can do It�s how you deal with everything that matters Stand strong, but remember there is always a shoulder to cry on. |
