Smoke

Confined in a room
smoke slowly creeps in from a crack
start to scream
but there is no one
smoke has been entering for years
now its finally filling the room
only place to go is down
can't see
I gasp for air
only smoke
can't breathe
fell like I�m suffocating
nothing to stop it
the smoke has won
all that is left
is me wanting to die
to get out of that room
wish someone could help
break down the door
been wondering that for years
but I know no one will come
no one will save me
doomed to die the way I lived
alone in captivity, no way out
just waiting
waiting for that last breath
then the smoke will disappear
and I�m left there,
cold and empty.
