Macclesfield punk band
OOOH where to begin... well back in the days of beyond...urm 1992 i believe there were three poeple who said 'lets start a band coz doormen dont ask questions when your carrying a guitar, so they did, the roots of the band DAVE TOM n GREG got going, but not without the help and instigation of one IAN MULLEY a great antagoniser, who would whip you to death with many lashings of the tounge if nothing else.
And so it started! the four piece blew apart most of the North West (in a fashion) and then recruited 'BOB' as an extra bit of UUMMPHH to the band, then there was no stopping them.
Things rolled along quite smoothly with the help of one paul neale who helped the early band along with precise organisation (well as organised as far as punk bands go) and so the band (known as FEW IDEAS..and they had quite a few) conquered all in thier path.
After many binges and such it was noticed that IAN had moved away and that BOB was no longer ther so the might of SAM BOWLER was introduced as master song writter and lord of debauchery. the band knew no bounds. Many a cracking tune was recorded in a cess pool of a bedroom on a 4 track, plus a few gigs.
After the hangover the SAM had departed also so they had no choice but to enlist THE CHAD, no matter than a few weeks later the first (seroius cd) was produced entitle NO REFUGE and sold like hot cakes (or lead balloons? i forget). The IAN returned full of wind and piss and with the CHAD went forth, Also ROB LOGAN5 SMITH accompanied IAN when the CHAD got lost in spain, and many a drunken time was had
ASs our hero's stand today they are still the core three of DAVE TOM n GREG our most faithfull guitarist, bassist and drummer. still going strong in face of all odds and ramming a new cd down our open throats to give us a taste of all thats goodly (or so they say) with a stonker of a new cd, EPIC and cor blimey if it is'nt!
