This conversion has been
sitting around awhile. Unfortunately Bob Wollek's untimely death
has rekindled
my interest.
Bob Wollek won the 1982 DRM in this Joest 936. These cars were hybrids
and can be created easily with the reissue of the Tamiya Porsche 935/78.
The base kit requires the tail to be shortened and the
addition of tail fins, rear
wing, light panel and induction scoop from the Tamiya 936/77. The
hard part is the diagonal stripes. I'm cheating and using the Studio
27 decals for this car but a real modeller would paint the
stripes!! Pics to
