Le Mans Miniatures Audi R8 conversion

This most recent offering from Le Mans Miniatures contains 32 resin parts, 4 rubber tires, 2 etched frets,
decals and clear plastic for light covers.  The resin is cleanly moulded with minimal flash and almost no
air bubbles .  It looks to be an easy build.  I'm complicating things by converting the car from 2000 Le Mans
spec to the quasi works Champion Porsche-Audi entry in the 2001 ALMS.  The conversion is quite simple
but for the markings, requiring only the addition of the 12 prominent vents on the front fender tops and
front dive planes.  Markings are another story altogether.  I will be taking some markings from the Revell
Champion Porsche GT1 and others will be printed on my Citizen 600C (Alps clone).  The colour
jelly beans will be hand cut from decal sheet.  Pictures soon to follow...
