A Supplement Of Water Of Contemplation
We think we are free. We are using hundreds of achievements of today's technologies, hoping those will save our time and make our lives more comfortable. Mobile phones, Internet, cars and stuff turn into a toys and time wasters, making us dependant. Dependant of imagined duties, mindless ways of spending our free time and whimsies of different people. We laugh at such kind of people and call them freaks if they ignore such ways of entertainment, understanding it is a nonsense. We enjoy the achievements of technology getting a mobile phone or using Internet, but as our minds are not powerful enough to process all this information, we use all these chances talking unimportant things, watching stupid pictures or trying satisfy our obscene inclinations. Trying to save more time, we feel missing of time even more. We don't have a time to stop, think, listen to others and ourselves. We are afraid to confess we are wasting our time, without understanding how few it is given to us. The hurry of life has built a wall of noise around us and taught us to avoid the silence. The noise around us doesn't let us to listen to God's (or conscience's; I hope the atheists and God's deniers won't deny it's existence) voice inside ourselves and disturbes us to see ourselves as we really are. We imagine ourselves very good and accurate, we eat with knife and fork trying to leave our hands clear so that no one thinks we are animals if we don't eat or act as we are supposed to. But that's not so important. Let's continue pretending, hoping we are gonna fool everyone including ourselves.
Who
organizing enterprises of beneficence, is really caring about those to whom the
the enterprises is dedicated to, especially if they are organized to help poor,
invalid or such kind of people whom we consider as if they were incomplete.
Organizing such kind of enterprises, we think firstly about ourselves, our
welfare and the advertisement of our firms or concerns. We know that people
would think of us as nice altruists and benefactors because we're organized such
enterprises, and that's why they're gonna choose our
firm's articles and services. In the base of everything is only
accounting - frosty and cruel. All other stuff is only the front side which
stands in front of ourselves and our intentions, which we are trying to hide. Of
course, there are also exceptions but I am talking about coherence here.
It's not the only example, but we won't inspect others because of missing the
time. In fact we already know, how bad we've acted, God or conscience (as you
like) speaks to us and remarks for this wrong action. That's why we've nothing
to do except trying to shut the mouth of God or conscience. That's why we invent
different ways how to do it, how to escape from harsh reality. Different ways of
entertainment which blunt our minds and feelings till the level of animal or
even lower, alcoholism, smoking and drugs which destroy our minds and suck out
all our physical power leaving only bones and skin, religions which announce
forgiveness and God's love, giving us an illusions that all our sins will be
forgiven even we haven't deserved it, virtual world which lets us to know people
behind nine seas, forgetting and ignoring them in the same time, those who daily
live near us ... we could continue it endless.
Doctors and lawyers are the professions which straight task is to help and
protect a man which is the weakest and unprotected. So what do we see? Lawyers
don't serve those, whose rights are lost because of society, but those who can
give them the largest honorariums. The same is with doctors who ask their
patients such question as - who's gonna pay for that? I feel the deepest respect
towards those young people who feel the calling in their hearts to help those
who are weak, going to study medicine or jurisprudence. Those young people who
attend such lectures and think only about the prestige of the profession or it's
high payment, are so miserable that I'm not even going to dedicate them some
sharp words. I'm not gonna judge them, let God do it or their own conscience.
Striving for freedom, we have tied ourselves in the chains of slavery. We have
mixed freedom with permissiviness and don't see the boundary between them
anymore. In the result we have made something like a new breed of humanity,
called homo sapiens vulgaris which is breeding in tempo of geometric progression
and which representatives are not interested in the difference between freedom
and permissiviness.
We think we can make the world better making the influence on it from outside, I
mean, with technologies and laws. But in fact it is hopeless. It's impossible to
change the world from outside. The only chance to change the world is to change
ourselves from inside, and we can do it only if we want it and understand why we
want to change.
I don't have anything against your lifestyle which you have made a norm. Each
one of us has done his own choice. Let each one of us live as he wants to, only
with one condition: we won't make make others live as we live and think as we
do, we won't use weakest to increase our welfare. God sees, hears and knows
everything!
That's why I invite all of you - let's not try to shut the mouth or God or conscience, when they speak to our hearts! It would be easier for us to live , and the burden of sins would become lighter!
