You Touched My Heart

A friendly smile,
A soothing touch.
Who would have known,
It meant so much?

You touched my heart,
No one has dared.
A lot of fun,
We both have shared.

The time has come,
we now must part.
Remember once?
You touched my heart.

I Wonder...

I wonder if you miss me
as much as I miss you?
I wonder if it's been easy
or what you're going through?

I wonder why this happened,
why you said good-bye.
I wonder why you walked away,
why you'd make me cry?

I wonder if you'll ever know,
what you meant to me?
I wonder if I'll ever heal,
we'll just have to see.

I wonder if you ever meant,
all the things you said?
I wonder if we were really friends,
or were you just playing with my head?

I Still Remember

I can still remember
when I was just a kid,
all the things you taught me,
and everything we did.

I remember how you made me laugh,
when I'd just want to cry,
and when I needed you to hold me,
you never asked me why.

I still see the looks I got,
whenever I was bad,
I always knew you loved me,
even when you got mad.

I remember thinking,
how lucky I must be,
to have someone special,
watching over me.

Although sometimes we disagreed,
and sometimes we'd get mad,
there never once was a time,
when I wasn't proud to call you dad.

Of all the memories that I hold,
one of them stands apart,
it is the time you told me,
you loved me from the heart.
