Water Nymph

Don't look directly at her
The breath in the forest, among sylvan trees stretching
Makes mist in its moonglow and shrouds over your eyes
See her standing, silver rainbow, right at the water's edge
Eyes like a doe's and hair of nightwebs
She smiles like a predator
Beckons with a lash of the lid so pure
Shows you drop by drop the entire river
Each pebble, each fish, each coinless wish
Strands of the moon make lines across your eyes
And it is Venus you taste at the back of your throat
Her's is bared, white plains and valleys, the land of snow
Rolling gently, here it is generous
You fall, but
Not into water.
