The Sellout.

Hello and welcome to a new chapter in the ongoing saga of Kreddible Trout. This time we find Mr. Trout once again doing battle with his unrelenting righteousness. This monster who lives inside him goes by several names: integrity, stubborness, principles, stupidity and and most often brazen idealism. This monster occasionally takes a beating and has to re-evaluate it's relationship with Mr. Trout who really just wants everyone to get along.

Of late, KT has become aware of the terrifying fact that photography is dying. Real photography.
Digital imagery however is not only alive and well but is an unstoppable creature that (i'm sure I heard this somewhere) ate Detroit and is coming after your city. Film cameras are dropping off the market at an alarming rate. Companies are closing. I'mm pretty sure that I'm not the first to make this allusion but:

Digital killed the photography star.

I'm sorry... I couldn't resist.

So all this being said... I just dropped a large amount of next year's cash on a digital SLR. A Canon EOS Rebel XT. It's supposed to be simple (I asked for the digital equivalent to my K1000) but the number of bibles I have to read in order to work the bloody thing says otherwise. The following pages are some of the first shots I've taken with it. They're typically ironic as is my wont but these ones really sting...
