Title Characters

Big Pete
The elder Wrigley brother, Big Pete often plays narrator to the adventures of he and his younger brother. Pete's own adventures consist of his struggles with teenagedom, growing up, and discovering who he is. Often he finds himself in a battle with his arch enemy, Endless Mike Hellstrom, or one of the other nemeses he's acquired along the way. These adventures have taught him that he shouldn't try to grow up too fast, that he shouldn't try to be anyone but himself, and that his family and friends will always be by his side. Pete's best friends are Teddy Foresman, Bill Korn, and Ellen Hickle. He plays trombone in the Squid's marching band, and has played on the Prosthetic's baseball team and the school wrestling team. Big Pete is just a normal teenager trying to grow up in the wacky world of Wellsville.

Little Pete
Little Pete is tough, fearless, and laughs in the face of danger. With the accompaniment of his friends and his personal superhero, Artie, he always finds himself embarking on many adventures, whether that be rebelling against the International Adult Conspiracy or beating up the Atlantic Ocean. Although Little Pete has had many friends throughout the years, you will probably see him in the company of Nona Mecklinberg, Wayne "The Pain," and Monica the Kreb Scout most often. With his tatoo, Petunia, on his arm, he coined the eternal insult "blowhole," ran his radio station, WART, and many more things to become not only a Wellsville legend, but one of the best characters to ever grace television.

Mom
Mrs. Wrigley is just your average mother, trying to do the best she can to raise her kids... and she has a metal plate in her head, that often attracts radio frequencies and magnetic objects. She is just the kind of person you'd expect to find in a place like Wellsville, and provides just the kind of motherly love and care that her sons need.

Mom's Plate
This is the metal plate in mom's head. It gets a spot here because it's in the opening credits (not that it doesn't deserve it).

Dad
The Pete's dad has all the qualities of your steriotypical dad, and more. Dad appears to have two main goals. The first is to bring pride to the Wrigley name, and instill that pride in his boys. Bringing pride to the Wrigley name often gets the family involved in polarizing competitions or even all-out wars with others, sometimes even friends. Whether it's reclaiming his rightful title as King of the Road or combat with the Hickle family, in the end Dad always realizes that his wonderful family is enough to bring pride to the Wrigley name. The second of Dad's goals is to earn the admiration of his boys. This gets him into a sticky situation with Little Pete's superhero best friend, Artie, who seems to have pushed Dad out of the running for the hero position in his son's life. What he doesn't realize is that he already is a superhero to his sons, no matter what acutal superheroes they know.

Ellen
Ellen is Older Pete's best friend who is a girl, but not his girlfriend. Well, sometimes she's his girlfriend, but sometimes that doesn't work out, and sometimes they're afraid to ruin their friendship by becoming an actual couple. Yet both of them find themselves wanting to be more than just friends at times. Would their relationship ever end up working? I guess we will never know, for sure, but in Wellsville, everything always works out somehow.

Artie, Strongest Man in the World
Artie is, in fact, the strongest man in the world. He is Younger Pete's wacky personal superhero, and accompanies the Wellsville kids on their many adventures with his super powers and super strength. His super-human powers come from his 40/60 titanium-cotton blend outfit. Artie lives in a port-a-john, his favorite smell is tire air, and he likes armpit noises because they remind him of his mother. However, Artie is not invincible; whammy bars drain him of his powers and he has once been defeated by a bowling ball. Also, an envious Mr. Wrigley attempts to drive Artie out of his son's life and Wellsville altogether. Although, in the end, Artie leaves, his "Little Viking", Pete, realizes Artie has already taught him everything he needs to know to be his OWN viking.

Nona
Nona F. Mecklenberg is one of Younger Pete's best friends and accomplices. The 'F' stands for Francis, but she wants to change it to Frame or Forklift when she gets older. She always wears a cast because she likes the itchy feeling it gives her.

Petunia
Petunia is Little Pete's tattoo. Occasionally, she dances.
