1. There was discontent with the old regime in France because many of the people in the Third Estate were upset about them not getting social betters and better job wages.
2. The crowd stormed the Bastille because they didn�t want the Parisians to occupy the capital and they also wanted to free prisoners and gun weapons.

5. The Reign of Terror was massive execution of people because they were revolting against the republic.
6. The reforms that Napoleon made as leader of France were that he modernized finances, made peace with the Catholic Church, he encouraged �migr�s to return, and he also created the Napoleon Code.
7. Napoleon tried to increase French power in Europe by adding more land to France by cutting Prussia in half and adding some parts of the Netherlands, and Italy, to France.
8. The result of Napoleon�s invasion of Russia was that he lost about 500,000 men because he had to retreat from Russia since there went enough supplies to support his men because the Russians retreated and burnt anything in there way so Napoleon had nothing left for his army.
9. The Congress of Vienna tried to restore the balance of power in Europe by protecting the system of monarchy. They also redrew the map of Europe and they placed strong countries around France to prevent them from expanding eastward.
