Lynda

Lynda having a bad hair day, heh... :)

Lynda and I have known each other for the past few years, but just recently we've begun getting closer and talking a lot more. Which I must say is nice. Lynda's an awesome person, I love her! She's got an awesome sense of humor, she's caring, sincere, she'll tell it like it is (which can be bad sometimes, I guess) and she's a damn smartass too! :P~ She's been there for me on several occasions just letting me vent and evenutally making me smile when I just wanna be mad! Btw, Lynda, I hate that! :P Heh.

Just recently we spent about 4 hours online playing 20 questions (well, kinda) and just trying to get to know one another better. The time went by too fast and she had to go *sniffle*...but I learned some pretty kewl stuff about my new buddy. I've begun to enjoy and cherish the moments that I have to spend with her. Over Labor Day, she logged online and it seems that Smithers had a lil much to drink. Which for me was entertaining, she was just a rambling away! At some point in the convo we exchanged phone numbers and next thing I knew the phone was ringing. YAY, it was Lynda!!! We talked for probably 4 hours without even realizing the time. At some point we were having a battle of the wits and her best comeback was, "You're a bitch!" LOL...well, now you know the truth Lynda. Unfortunately for her the alcohol kicked in and for me, I had to work...so we ended one of the best conversations I've had in a really long time and I went to work on 2 hours of sleep, heh.

I've been invited to visit her and her wife, Lizzy in NY and I just might have to take her up on that offer. Lord knows I could use a vacation!!! Thanks for the invite darling! Tell Lizzy she's got nothing to worry about either! The offer stands if you and Lizzy ever want to get away too...I like company :) Thanks for all the good times...keep them coming, okies?

Lynda and I finally got to meet one another back in March of 2002. Kathy and I drove 3 hours to Corning, NY where Lynda was at with her basketball folk and we hung out for about 4-5 hours. She's as much of a trip irl as she is online. We had lunch and then just hung out in her hotel room with her and some of the other coaches. Apparently, we left about 15 minutes too soon, because that's how much we missed Lizzy by. Oh well, maybe next time...and there will be a next time! Twas good meeting you Lynding! :)

Lynda and her wife, Lizzy, will hopefully have some really great news to share with everyone in the next few months. They have been researching and going through the process of artificial insemination. Let's keep our fingers crossed that I'll have something to update here after September! *crosses everything that's crossable* Good Luck, gals!
