Facing A Trial
So many of those that I love are facing a trial,
It brooks no argument affords no denial.
That their lives are up heaved is certainly true,
And yet Dear Lord I�m limited in what I can do.
Between Drs� diagnoses causing fear and distress,
And an impending surgeries questionable success.
Between one grandchild suffering excruciating pain,
And another with an undeserved blot on his name.
And with it all watching my beloved suffer each day,
Lord there� only one thing I can do that�s pray.
I can lift each one up calling out their name,
And asking for each one the very same.
Asking that Your perfect will be done for each,
For those I dearly love but can-not reach.
I can ask for healings and that all things turn out well,
But what good is that if they end up in Hell!
You know so much better than I what should be,
So I lift each of them up entrusting them to Thee.
I�ll not request certain outcome nor how it will be done,
I ask only Your will in the name of the Son.
I ask they be comforted feeling Your love so dear,
And that each of them sense that You are near.
That they know how Dearly they�re loved,
And they realize their strength comes from Heaven above.
Facing a trial can be very difficult to do,
I pray each of my loved ones know I�ve entrusted them to You!
Heavenly Father with my prayerful request today,
I send my sincere and heartfelt gratitude your way.
I Thank You for hearing and answering every request,
And for knowing always which way is best.
I Thank You for providing us with the faith to believe,
And for the promises our stresses to relieve.
I Thank You for loving us in such an awesome way,
And for this precious gift of being allowed to pray.
I Thank You for every loving kind thing that You do,
I Thank You Dearest Heavenly Father for being You!
