My Path To Inner Peace
Take my hand, Dear Lord
This� I daily pray
Guide me and direct me
Through all� my earth bound days
When I look across this land
Lead me in the path of righteousness
So I may understand�
The burdens and the plight
Of every child, woman and man
Place gentleness� upon my now clasped hands
In helping to wipe away their tears
Please fill my heart� with soothing words
So I may ease� their hurts and fears
Fill my voice with the sweetest song
Of Your unconditional love
In telling everyone of Your forgiveness�
When things in life�go wrong
As I bow my head� today
Adding the friends� I�ve yet to meet
Plus those I know and dearly love�
I ask for their protection
And guidance from above
Praying they, too�
Will also do the same
As once again, I find�
My path to inner peace
Whenever� I call Your Name
