New Beginnings
Each new day is a new beginning of its own,
a new day to reap what we have previously sown.
Each new day is a brand new start,
when we can determine what we�ll be
deep within our heart.
No matter what�s happened
no matter what�s occurred,
you can begin anew
it�s recorded in The Word.
Old pains and sorrows
can forever be put to rest;
from this moment on
you can remember only the best.
From this moment on
you can focus on what�s good,
forgiving and forgetting
as God says we should.
We can ask for discernment
guiding our every step,
that way our promises to God can be kept.
We can surrender anew
to our Heavenly Father each day,
asking Him to help us live our lives His way.
So much better than dwelling
on what occurred in the past,
we can each become one with God at last.
New beginnings are being offered
to one and all,
but it is up to each individual
to answer the call.
No one can do it for you
no matter how deep their love,
you and you alone decide
if you�ll accept Jesus� love.
Let the past rest with the tears
and sorrow it caused,
let�s accept a new beginning
without hesitation or pause.
Let�s begin living a life
overflowing with love,
endlessly supplied
unconditionally from above.
