Be Encouraged
All things are possible
if on the Lord, you will only believe.
God's help, grace, and power,
we can freely receive.
The things which would discourage
must all be laid aside,
We must receive God's promises and living Word
in Christ, we must choose to abide.
There are many things along life's way
which will try to get us down,
When we rely on Jesus daily,
We'll find His joy can always be found.
He bore the cross that should have been ours
He's the one who carries the nail scars.
Jesus died in our place that we might have life
to take away our sin, sorrows, and strife.
Hold on to the Lord's loving hand
all the way to the portals of heaven,
for Jesus is our joy and strength,
He is truly our reason for living.
If you feel Jesus is all you have
you'll find, He is all you need
for with Jesus in your life, my friend
I know, you will surely succeed.
Because He lives, we can face tomorrow
knowing He will give us joy for sorrow.
He holds the future in the palm of His hand,
So reach out and touch Him,
in Him you can safely stand.
