Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you.

We all need a closer walk to our Lord. He has given us His Holy Spirit to lead and guide us. As we yield to His Spirit within, Jesus will direct our paths as we walk through this life.

We are not to lean to our own understanding but must trust in the Lord with all our heart and acknowledge Him in all our ways. We can all be just as close to the Lord as we want to be. It is our choice. He promises when we draw nigh unto Him, He will draw night unto us. Jesus reaches further down than we could ever reach up and is our Savior, Lord, and Dearest Friend.

In our weakness, Jesus will be our strength. His joy will strengthen our hearts as we know we never walk alone. His ever abiding presence is with us. Our Lord is as close as the mention of His holy name.

Our prayer is to continually walk closer to the Lord. The things which would try to hinder us from drawing nigh to the Lord must be laid aside. Jesus must be number one in our lives and not only our Savior, but our Lord and Master.

One day life's earthly race shall end and we shall cross the heavenly portals into the presence of the Lord. Until that day, we must keep on walking close to our Lord each day.
